Priyadarshini Point is previously called as Forsyth Point up to 1964. Because during British Government in India, British Captain Forsyth step 1st time on this place in 1857 and discovered this Hill station called Panchmari Hill Station.

After the Independence of India, Indira Gandhi (the first and, to date, the only female Prime Minister of India) came to this place 1st time and hence on her honour, this place is named on her Birth Name called Priyadarshini as Priyadarshini Point...

Overall place is so beautiful to see. All over there are various green Mountains located and entire place is totally free from any type of pollution and healthy for children and yelders to take a good rest.

One of the most important highlight about this place is that we can actually able see the very important Hindu religious Shiv Temple located on top of the Chauragarh Mountain which is directly seen from Priyadarshini Point.

All the places in hill station have their own uniqueness and we have to follow each and every specific measure to maintain their beauty and to avoid any accident caused by our carelessness ...
