THE DIARY GAME : 08/08/2020| Saturday | 3rd Day Entry

Hello Everyone!

Hope all are safe and doing well. Today is Saturday that means weekends for IT professionals but not all time sometimes we have to work on the weekend also. Why I have to work at the weekend, let's start from the beginning.

I woke up at 9 am in the morning and pinged to my colleague asked him about the status of development but not get the response for the next 1.5 hrs. Meantime I get fresh up, took a tea, and logged in for office work. What is the reason behind this to login in the weekend, I and my team had decided to release the feature on Friday(07/08/2020) sorry not me only my team decided to release on Friday and promised to the client also, but Friday morning at 11 pm I got to know the developer has not completed the feature but some of the features he had completed, rest he will commit in a couple of hours, so I start my testing and found some issue those also I assigned one by one to him. Now to the developer have a bundle of issues and pending tasks too, that he has not completed. After some times my lead pinged and asked the status I explained to him what is the status, then he asked are going to release or not then developer response yes we will do today,

Now the time came to call with client wait wait wait, back to a couple of minutes before client call, my lead called me asked to take the call with a client that means I have to give the answer to the client about today's release. Now call start, and the client asked when you guys going to release I am very excited to see the new features. I said, I we are going to release new feature but not now it will take 2hrs more from now. He said, no worry, anyway I have to travel to somewhere it will take 5hrs so anyhow I am not going to look. Then I thought why not I ask him to release the feature on Monday and the same I asked but he did not agree for Monday but he said Saturday morning. Saturday morning client time means my Saturday evening time. So now I thing all got to know why I worked on the weekend.

So there was not a special dish I cooked in lunch, till evening at 5 pm I worked and did the release successfully of a new feature.

At 7 pm my mate told me that some of his friends are coming and they will hold night here.

So to welcome them we decided to cook chicken. My mate went to marked bring the chicken and cold drink, mean times I was chopping the onion, tomato, and chili. at 9 pm they my doorbell rang which means they are already here. I said hi to all without shaking hands they also prevented shaking hands. I gave him sanitizer to sanitize their hands. Now the came for the dinner and we finished it at 11 pm.

Now we went to the terrace for a walk but it was raining outside so we spent only 10mins and back to the room, we played a game housie for almost 3hrs and the time is 2:30 am.

This is how I was busy on Saturday, and after a long time, I met some new peoples. Around 3 am I went to bed.
