Bonfire Night at Manali

in #india5 years ago

Hey....just being back..
Soo in my previous post I told you all about reaching Manali and check in and then camping.

After we came from camping we all were tired and rested for a hour or two and then the first night at Manali was our bonfire night. Our hotel was big enough and also had a big open space where the bonfire was arranged.

During the bonfire we were with the local dancers and singers of the place. They came their to amuse us and tell their customs. They capered round the bonfire, sang and danced too. They were singing a song in their local language. Later they told all of us to join them and also sing with them. We learned by heart one line which was, ' Sabashe Sabashe haye Sabase'. I personally don't know the meaning but it is a great memory for all of us. If anyone know the meaning kindly comment. We all danced together and enjoyed and at the end thanked them for being with us.
