Twitter has closed more than 700 million Fake accounts in two months
Social media websites Twitter has closed more than 70 million fake accounts in May and June. According to the news agency Xinhua, this action has been taken because of spreading false and sensational news through the Fake account.
News agency Xinhua believes that after political pressure, fack accounts have been closed.
Twitter has recently been informed that the company is going to make changes in its services. Now the company will offer more space for big events like the World Cup, Earthquake, Royal Wedding, and Elections so that people can easily find interesting tweets.
Twitter has tried to stand with users and advertisers by emphasizing live events and instant news. On the other hand, Facebook has started giving news less priority than friends and family posts.
San Francisco-based company Twitter told that they will send notifications of such big events to their users, which they are interested in. The company will also promote such events in a dedicated section of Twitter's search page.
