Ancient indians have contributed a lot to science.Aryabhatta is an astronomer and he has calculated the distance between the earth and moon and other planets long ago.Now in this technologically advanced world,when we calculate the distance using modern equipments,surprisingly the distance is approximately same.One more surprise is that he has calculated such distances by just seeing the images of planets and moon reflecting over the standstill pond water.
Susruthar a saint is said to have conducted surgeries centuries before.He is even termed as the father of plastic surgery.
