Winter Dresses for Lord Krishna

These all are different types of winter dresses made for Lord Krishna a.k.a. Laddu Gopal. My mother in law had hired few poor ladies (who needed money and they were not enough educated) for this job. Its a very small sized work where everyone gets paid nicely, my mother-in-law is just a mediator between these poor ladies and the big shops along with that my mother-in-law helps them to finish these clothes on time.

I would say its a very good initiative especially in India to empower women who can earn something sitting at their home. This is crochet. It's a process of creating fabric by interlocking loops of thread using a crochet hook. The hook is made of metal or plastic. Then it is packed and sell on the market.
