Gatte ki sabji

Hi steemians....
I am from rajasthan, and I love rajasthani cuisine.
Today I want to share an authentic dish from rajasthan. It is a delicious curry prepared with gram flour as base ingredient, known as Gatta. And the recipe name is gatte ki sabji..
Here it's is..
Mix besan flour, red chilli powder, fennel seeds,carom seeds, curd , oil and salt as taste. Combine all the ingredients for the gattas. Knead a firm dough using little amount of water.

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into long roll shown as below in the picture.

Boil plenty of water in a pan and cook the gattas in boiling water for 8 to 10mins till they are cooked and keep aside. Cut the gattas into 1/2" long peices.

Now in a mixer make paste of tomatoes, onions, garlic and ginger.

Now heat the oil in a pan add cumin seeds,mustard seeds,fennel seeds, asafeotida, cinamon and the paste of tomato onion.
Then add turmeric powder,chilli powder, coriander powder salt. Simmer for 7 to 8 mins. Then add curd and stir well.

Now add the gattas to the curry and bring to boil.
At last garnish it with coriander leaves.
