On May 11th 1998 , India successful conducted Nuclear Tests with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam the then DRDO chairman, He was a great person.
Now its been 20 years and it has been a proud moment for country.
Developing new technology always helps.
It was for peace and development of the country.

Electricity production with Nuclear power will account an increased % in coming years.
In May 1974 , India first tested its Nuclear weapon, namely Smiling Buddha under the leadership of Indira Gandhi ji.
