Journalist killed in India; Chota Rajan life imprisonment

Special Public Prosecutor (PP) Pradip Gharat told the court on this day that an attack on a journalist means attacking the fourth pillar of democracy, so no soft attitude should be taken against the perpetrators. On the other hand, lawyers of the accused said that this incident is not rare in rare cases, so they should not be sentenced to death. The court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment after hearing both sides.
