Make in India

Make in India has been a major move by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to boost Indian economy by inviting companies and enterprises to India so that they can take a more active role in developing India. Definitely this will succeed if a number of foreign companies come to India and invest so that employment opportunities will be created in India. In addition, raw materials for making the products will be purchased from India which will in turn create more job opportunities for small enterprises in India. But recently, it is noticed that Government of India tend to buy even defence arsenal from foreign companies while it is possible to develop them in India by a number of major companies. India has a Defence Research and Development Authority. We would appreciate if such organisations are properly used so that India can save a large amount of money and India will not be dependent on foreign countries.
