To reach Manali , Himachal Pradesh (India) , well it is pretty much an easy task you can get a bus from any nearby city or state which will directly take you to the paradise manali . Either way you can break you long journey and first reach kullu which is midway to manali and also a beautiful place with mesmerising views . It will take 15hours and 580 kilometers long journey to reach manali .
Road to manali is itself a jaw dropping beauty as river Beas flows side by side your journey to manali .

Places to Visit in manali

There are a lot of places to visit in manali . To start off i would suggest to go for

Hidimba Devi Temple

Situated in central manali , this place holds religious importance to a large section of the population. This temple is made up with a wood of one single tree and signifies the glory of Monster Hindimba who married Bheem one of the great character in mahabharat epic of hindu mythology .

Next you can visit Vashisht temple which was made centuries ago . as per google it is said to be more than ## 4000years old . You will find a hot water pool to wash out your pain of travelling long .

One of the most peaceful place in manali i would say is Jogini Falls . A small waterfall with magestic views and beauty of nature .

Next you can rent bikes to enjoy a ride and mesmerising views of snow covered huge mountains.

If you're a person who enjoys some adventure you can visit solang valley which is around 15kms form manali , and enjoy paragliding in the snow cold air and heights of mountains . You can aslo enjoy skiing during winters

A few more Kilometers form solang valley lies gulaba and ### Rohtang where you can jump into large patches of snow .

The Mellow Zone

Himachal is one of the largest producer of marijuana in India , and it produces one of the worlds best hashish . Despite of being illegal it is easily available . If you're lucky enough to score some good stuff and smoke it without getting in trouble you will earn a lifetime experince.
