13 digits mobile number coming soon
Yes you read that right, your mobile numbers may soon be changed to 13 digits number. The Telecom industry has decided so as to tackle the difficulty of the increasing numbers of mobile users. From July 1st companies like BSNL will issue SIM cards of 13 digits mobile number only. Here is the letter below to indicate that.
However it is not yet fully decided that whether the existing numbers will have 3 digits added to the beginning or at the last. There is no confirmation yet on when will it be done. All decisions on existing numbers will be taken after 1st October.
If we remember such changes where done even before by the Telecom industry in 2002, when all the landline numbers where added the digit 2 in front of the actual numbers.
Thus this is not the first time that such a thing is happening.
So let's see what happens , the date has almost come. Changes are for better and they are always welcome..

It’s just unbelievable. If series will change like Jio has 65 starting series so if 5,4 series will come so that is okay but its just unbelievable news.

Haha very interesting news soon we need to have hard disks to keep handi for storing the phone numbers...
This will be implemented for machine-to-machine communication only. Not for regular customers.
