Is Diverse Cryptocurrency Portfolio Is Your Thing? Are you looking for a way to store them- Exodus Eden is Here
With market capitalisation reaching its all time high at $162bn USD. The Cryptocurrency space is crowded with several coins and tokens. Since the time Bitcoin was introduced and until this present day, there are more and more potential coins which are available for trade. Which can offer investors like us to diversify our portfolio and take a stronger position in the market. However, the major problem is how to store these coins and tokens. As the popular word of advice is not to store coins and tokens on exchanges.
So what are the options to store these coins and tokens once we purchase them? Definitely there more than one options and it all depends upon your preference. Whether you want to store it in hot wallets or cold storage wallets i.e. online or offline.
Following are the options where you can store your coins and tokens:
- Online Wallets
- Software Wallets
- Paper Wallets
- Hardware Wallets
Note: These are listed above from probably least to most secure, however, subject to any disagreement and claims.
Exodus is one such trusted software wallet which has been around since 2015, which supports several cryptocurrencies. I have been using the original Exodus wallet for quite sometime now and have done several transactions seamlessly.
The wallet also has in-built Shapeshift which allows to convert your cryptocurrency coins into other supported currencies of the wallet.
So what seems to be the problem with a seamless and secure wallet?
The original Exodus wallet takes time to add support to new coins and tokens. Therefore, it was definitely a wait for investors including me, who are looking to store coins and tokens outside of exchanges.
Now Exodus has introduced Exodus Eden to take care of the delay, which previously affected investment decisions. Now investors can take more control over their investment choices as the new wallet supports Bitcoin Cash, many ERC20 Tokens and very soon shall support Ethereum Classic and Factom. Its definitely a good news for those who are looking forward to a desktop wallet which can do a little more to store your diverse portfolio investment.
In fact, I see it as a great opportunity for investors, but there is a catch. Exodus recommends it to only “Advanced Users” and not everyone as its still in pre-release phase. However, it wont effect your balances if you were previously using the original version of Exodus.
Important items to remember about Eden
We recommend Eden for advanced users only. Normal Exodus users SHOULD NOT USE Eden.
Eden is unsupported, pre-release software - things are likely to break.
Support for Eden will be provided by the community and our public Slack channel.
This page on our website is purposefully hidden. Don't give this to your neub friends as you will likely get stuck doing tech-support for them when things don't work properly
To be clear, the Exodus customer support team will not be able to help if you experience any problems with Eden.
Why to Get Exodus Eden?
Exodus Eden is an advance version of the original Exodus which helps you store several other Altcoins and tokens, which previously were not available. If you are looking out to diversify your cryptocurrency portfolio and you want to store them with a trusted wallet developer, then definitely do check out Exodus Eden.
