Tribute to Srinivasa Ramanujan

26 th April was the day when the greatest of all Mathematicians "Srinivasa Ramanujan" died .His contribution towards the Mathematical Science is very immense and vast.At the very young age he found out a large number of formulas that are used in the present days by researchers and great Mathematicians .Some of the Ramanujan's Mathematics are not even been proved till date..

Regarding the death anniversary of the great mind, the department of Mathematical Science ofTezpur University organised a meet up regarding the topics of Ramanujan's Mathematics .It was a day long programme and the main guests were Dr.Atul Dixit and Dr.Bibekananda Majhi , who are the associate professors of IIT Gandhinagar.They gave a very good lecture on how the Ramanujan's problems are being solved and also the works and reasearches done by them..
Most of the Ramanujan's Mathematics are used in doing the PhD degree...
Whole of the day we learnt a lot of things there by the professors ..
Remembering Ramanujan is always a great moment for everyone as his works ,desire and live towards the subject enncourage everyone .
He was a great man of his times and also his contribution towards the Mathematical world will be featured more in a extent in the coming future..
