The mere borders you cross, the more your mind opens - Sonamarg, Kashmir
I am willing to put myself through anything, temporary pain or discomfort means nothing to me as long as I can see that the experience will take me to a new level. I am interested in the unknown, and the only path to the unknown is through breaking barriers, an often painful or scary process.
Location: Sonamarg, Kashmir
💡India Pakistan Boarder.
I’ve not ceased being fearful, I’ve gone ahead despite the pounding in my heart that says: turn back, turn back, you’ll die if you go too far..
This is the intense trip so far due to the following:
- Landed in a Military Defense Airport with so much quarantines
- No network available ( only postpaid local number will work),
- Net connection will only be available at the hotel.
- Men in uniform on guard from one block to another. 5.Came across with 30 military trucks in convoy with military snipers on board
- Solo Girl in a Male Dominating place.
Initially youll think I am really visiting a tourist place? But later on youll understand what is security is all about. I am blessed to be sorrounded with good kashmiri locals. I was able to captured the secret beauty of this place that will be forever in my heart. I m so grateful with the kashmiris Ive met who didnt hesitate to share smiles and conversations with me. The sincerety and hospitality to help .
It is indeed wonderful experience for me.
They laugh at me because I'm different and I love Kashmir; I laugh at them because they don't have to courage to explore.
Visit Kashmir and you'll know that more you see the more you know you haven't seen. ❤️
