Agriculture in Nepal
Nepal is landlocked country. It is between two countries, Chain in the North and India in the East, west and south. The country is a home of natural beauty with traces of artefacts. Nepal is an agriculture country, it having 66 percent people engaged in farming so that Nepal's economy depended upon agriculture sector. The country is richly endowed with agrobiodiversity. It is provided for the raw material for the industries. Seasonal nature of farming leads to widespread-underemployment, but programs to grow cash crops and encourage cottage industries have had some success over the year.
The agricultural sector is the backbone of three types, There are food crops, cash crops and mixed crops.Crop production and animal husbandry are the components of the farming system in the hill areas. It is closely interlinked and interdependent. Rice, Maize, Wheat, Millet etc are the good crop of the food crops. Jute, Sugarcane, Tea, Coffee etc are the cash crops things.
