How would the world look like if we could be immortal?
Just think about that and try to imagine this reality. Well, not only science, but also new medical practices and trends show, that immortality could be real in the next 10-20 years.
I'll uncover some of the topics I want to write about: genetic engineering and therapy, CRISPR/CAS, TELEN, genetic programming, machine learning, genome sequencing and playing God.
We will talk about social issues of immortality and how it could change our lives.
I will show you the work of modern immortalists like Aubrey de Grey, Liz Parrish and Bill Andrews and try my best to explain the scientific concepts behind their work.
I am a tech-loving biologist and marketer with a strong interest in writing code. This is my kind of #introduceyourself.

Let me know if you manage to crack it. I love Aubrey de Grey - because he's a character, and because of his noble efforts. I know many have tried to debunk him, and I tried to read up on the critique and his actual theories, but alas, I am a social scientist, not a biologist, so the critique points were hard to comprehend. Look forward to learn more.
He is an evangelist of immortality and truly a huge mind and personality. Cracking the code of aging is my biggest goal so far and vor the first time in more than a decade I See the technological potential to actually get it done.
Yeah, if Gandalf can't do it, who can. Seriously, though, his basic theory of dividing the issues making us old into categories that can be dealt with one at a time, is quite ingenious.
And on a different note, I'm sure this is something the Steemit community will have an interest in.
The more people have gain interest in these areas the faster we get to having the aging problem solved
