Down through the age, there has always been the myth about immortality that godlike ability to live forever. But sometimes myth can have a root of truth. It was our scientist who discovered a creature that comes closest to immortality.

TURRITOPSIS DOHRNII (IMMORTAL JELLYFISH)

The scientist has discovered a Jellyfish which can live forever. The immortal creature is now officially known as Turritpsis Dohrnii. The tiny transparent jellyfish is a species of biologically immortal jellyfish that found in Mediterranean sea and in the water of Japan.

This is the only animal which capable of reverting completely to a sexually immature stage after having reached maturity, as Dr Karl Kruszelnicki explains.

The species become Egg after fertilized, then become Planula. The planula attached with a rock convert to a Polyp, then its become gradually a matured jellyfish about 4 to 5 cm.

The species may not be immoral if it can be eaten by biggest creatures or others natural accident. So, it is not un-killable.

After matured or suffer an attack or starvation or some kind of environmental stress. Instead of dying, its revcert himself into a blob or larva, and then it become a planula and start same process for forever.
