Families Belong Together March In DC

in #immigrant6 years ago

On June 30, 2018 hundreds-of-thousands of Americans across the country rallied to protest the Trump Administration's policy of separating families as they cross the border and detaining their children. There were tens-of-thousands of people in Washington DC marching on a humid day. Check out my report on the day and some interviews with Susana Sandoval who ran for the Senate in Chicago in 2016 and marched with National Domestic Workers Alliance, Legba who took part in a march on the apartment building of Trump Advisor and child detention-policy architect Stephen Miller, and Tighe Barry of Code Pink whose children attended school with Miller.

Thanks for watching.
