I came across something exciting

I don’t ever do pieces on new tech or ICO’s because I am not an expert on this type of stuff. But I am really excited about a new ICO the tech it will launch is aimed at protecting photographer’s work. As a photographer I find this new ICO and the tech behind it exciting and I just had to do a piece on it, it has taken me a day or two longer than I expected to get this piece done but I wanted to make sure I completed my research before sitting down to write this piece. It is very promising and if it works the way it should work, the practice of stealing ones photo and passing it off a their own will end.

Tech to protect photos

I personally think this will end up being an important piece of tech to in helping protect ones photography work. I host photo contests all the time and I normally get one to two stolen photos each and every time I host a contest, despite my warnings that I google search all images entered and will flag stolen images and will also check their blog to make sure they are not stealing other content, and will flag any additional stolen content I find. But even with all of that people still steal photos and try to pass it off as their own. It really does make me sad to see, but this ICO for Image Protect has me excited because it could end this practice for good and protect photographers work.

This is a total game changer for photographers

As a photographer I see this as a total game changer. This will make it harder for thieves to pass off stolen work as their own. I am really excited about this ICO. I am not saying anyone should invest in this not without doing your own research, but I personally am going to be investing in this as I see how this can help protect my images. I am excited about this ICO and I had to tell the steemit community about it.

Protecting my photography is something I have wanted but didn't know how to go about it except by watermarks.

I am hopeful that this is the solution not only myself has been looking for but also the solution that many others have been searching for also. It can be time consuming once you have learned your work has been stolen to search and make sure it isn't other places. This should give back all that time to those who have to search for their stolen work. With any new tech it can sound good on paper, and I hope it works in application and not just in theory. But this is the first ICO I have actually been excited about in months too many have popped up that have not been good ICO's but this one I truly feel is different from the rest.
