The Seasonal Approch to Colour
The seasonal approach to colour is used to get easier and more accurate results. Skin, hair and eyes are hereditary (genetic) and therefore harmonious. Everyone has unique skin pigmentation. It is based on the percentage of melanin (brown) , carotene (yellow) and haemoglobin (red) in the skin. This determines either the blue or yellow undertone.

There are basically two undertones:

  1. Yellow or Warm undertones
Autumn-has a warm, rich golden undertone. Colours are strong and rich, muted or clear.
Spring-Colour of the sun-clear colours, clean colours and crisp colours.
    2.Blue or Cool undertones.
Winter-sparkles in vivid primary colours, very light pastels and strong contrasts.
Summer-glows in softer cool, blue-tone colours, muted or clear, not as dark or intense as winters palette.

The Benefits of wearing the right colours helps the skin harmonize and it helps to diminish lines and imperfections to give a healthy glow. You can save money when buying clothes and avoid making costly "mistakes". You can also have a fully coordinated wardrobe-triple your wardrobe potential. You will look good and feel confident adding to a positive self-image.
