Is Illuminati from Africa?

The worship of the West African deity Alegba Papa Legba was imported into Europe by West African Moors. We know this because Alegba, who is a god of wisdom, has three zoomorphic images attributed to him: the lion in some instances, and the goat or bull in others. The Secrets of Voodoo by Milo Rigaud touches on this. Also Alegba is worshiped as the Guardian of the Crossroads, the same guardian that Delta blues musician Tommy Johnson said he got his guitar-playing skills from; the same crossroads that European witches and warlocks went into the forest to worship their Black God.

The French occultist Eliphas Levi created the Baphomet goat image that has been popularized in occult books and Hollywood movies. It is important to note that Hollywood is a reference to the “Holy Wood,” or the “Palo” used by African Paleros for magical purposes. The word Palo means “stick” in Spanish, a language that was spoken by several Moors of Iberia. The African palo is where Medieval Western Europe got the idea of the magic wand made of wood. Levi’s countrymen were driven out of Haiti by Black men and women who worshiped Alegba. So in order to scare people away from the West African sciences Alegba’s image was not only demonized, but perverted.
Notice that the statue—in keeping with African tradition—depicts Alegba as a horned Black man with an erect penis. Now go back to the Baphomet image drawn by Levi with the rod in his phallic region and you will see that the Baphomet goat is just an ostentatious depiction of the African “Father of Understanding” Alegba. Is it totally inconceivable for us to conclude that a West African god of wisdom could be revered by Hugh de Payens—who was himself a descendant of West Africans—as an “Abu Fihamet” (Father of Understanding)? Remember that Templar founder de Payens was of Moorish descent and his last name was “de Payens” which means “of the Pagans.” Who were these “Pagans”? They were Moorish occultists who brought aspects of traditional African religion to medieval Christian France. This is why the allegiance of Franciscan Moors was often questioned by the Papacy. #legba #papalegba #templars #moors #Moorish #illuminaticongo
