How you can turn nothing into everything.

in #ideology6 years ago

As an individual I have always been fascinated with rebellious ways of thinking, always drawn in by the idea that the smallest individual still has the power to change things on a scale which may seem impossible.
It is however, much harder to actually act upon such fantasies, rather then to simply meditate on them.
Now in this quickly transforming period of my life, I believe that i have come to an answer.
In recent days i have drawn most of my productivity from the words of Dr. Timothy Leary, who gives us a specific set of instruction which he claims always have and always will be rediscovered throughout time.
These instructions are easy to understand but somehow still ignored or taken lightly by the masses, Turn on, Tune in, And Drop Out.
These simple instructions guide the individual the individual through the life long journey of an enlightened mind.

First, you must be open and willing to expand the mind(turn on), and then do so. This step often if not nearly always, includes the use of substances which are prohibited. And indeed it does make sense that if there were a way for the individual to free himself from the chains placed upon them by society, that very society keeping him in chains certainly won't likely want the individual to access such substances.

The next step of the process is the tune in, this step of integrating lessons, mindsets, and moral ideals, taught through the turn on, into the daily life. This step can be hard, there will always be forces against you on your path to enlightenment, but the most important thing i can teach, as Dr. Leary may likely agree, is that none of these obstacles matter. Your biggest barrier is your mind. It is my opinion that the objective of the turn on, tune in, drop out process, is to regain full control of the mind. But the process of taking back your mind, might seem very similar to losing it entirely.
Humans are born into the earth perfect entities, and then meticulously scrambled and slow-roasted by the fucked up gears of society, hijacked to behave in a way that is nowhere near to the perfect, beautiful product of evolution that you are when you first come into the world.
And when your mind is running on a series of loops and rote exersizes, for years and years, finally taking back control can be a bit stressing.
But do not falter, for the drop out step is how you fully exit the boring "studio set" life you have been raised in.

Drop out.
Leave the boring, useless, disheartening institutions and corporate entities behind you.
The mind is yours.
Give up what your week, infinitely finite human body can attain, do not seek out material satisfaction.
The american dream is a pissing contest designed to rope you in and take you away from the true final frontier, the mind.
Turn on your mind that has been so long turned off, Tune in your senses that have so long been distracted, and drop out of the ridiculous material games that keep you away from the beauty of the mind.

Do nothing.

And you will gain everything.
