Concrete digital identity via blockchain

Accurate digital representation of our real world selves, has always fallen onto a relative scale of subjectivity. Facebook strongly encourages users to use their real names, post real photos (with accurate tags), but contains a very small amount of truth when representing it's users underlying emotional narrative. Alternatively, World of Warcraft allows users to explore their physical representation freely, which in return, often enables the user's real life personality to show through more than it would on a restricted, curated profile like Facebook, twitter, or instagram.

I believe the blockchain paradigm may allow for a new virtual environment, that at it's most foundational level, is built upon the truthful physical, mental, and spiritual identity of it's users. Through the combination of various input data such our complete genome, advanced 3d scanning and simulation, with ai and machine learning assisted representations of our demeanor and mannerisms, identity theft will become impossible, as our digital representation will no longer represent us, it will BE us. There would be no more need for passwords, as access to our assets would only be possible through literally being the person to whom the assets belong.

If the internet changed in this way, we would all be strongly encouraged to act as our truthful, honest selves both online, and in the real world. There would no longer be a benefit to impersonating or masking our true natures. Communication would be direct and efficient, minimizing wasteful games played by predatory entities.

There would no longer be a need for advertisements, as products that irrefutably improve our quality of life would be directly linked to our identities and made available. This would allow people to improve their physical and mental health with zero risk of misdirection at the hands of a greedy companies.

This is not to suggest escapism and fantastical ideation would be restricted, it would simply be put into context. The wow player would be defined as a person exploring a unique sensatorial experience, not literally an orc.

Those are some of my thoughts, written down. I'd love to know what you all think! :-) Could the unshakeable truth of data held within the blockchain change how we represent ourselves online and in the real world? Is that one of steemit's goals?
