How Can We Make participating in ICOs (Initial Crypto/Coin Offerings) simpler?

Hi,
When the average investor thinks of Initial Crypto/Coin Offerings, it is more than likely thinking of stocks and wall street. Yes, wall street gave investors, the ipos (Initial Public Offerings) as well as other investment vehicles to buy stock in new or existing corporations. These ipos allowed start up corporations with important inventions to seek capital from private investors, often multi-millions of dollars. These offerings are regulated by the U.S. Security Exchange Commission (S.E.C).

Crypto Currencies, like Bitcoin, are digital assets which to work as a medium of exchange using cryptography on a blockchain to secure informative transactions, to audit the creation of additional units, and to verify the transfer of assets and balances. It is a digital system of checks and balances. Cryptocurrencies are a special kind of digital currencies and are also considered alternative currencies and virtual currencies.

Often times, crypto-currencies are created and in order to fund various needs are offered for sale in Initial currency offerings or ICOs. Initial currency offerings are set up through crypto-currency exchanges and are generally unregulated, most times hard to understand or find information about, and have no rhyme or reason for their initial offerings and therefore have been quite controversial. Sometimes these icos and these exchanges themselves have been dishonest because these ICOs are set up to use crypto-currency as a quick source of capital for startup individuals, companies, corporations and governments as well as others. And currently, most ICOs are usually hosted on crypto-currency exchanges where a percentage of a newly minted crypto-currency is auctioned to investors in exchange for legal tender or other crypto-currencies such as Bitcoin. Unfortunately, these unregulated ICOs and these exchanges have caused many, many problems since their inception, and investors have lost funds, trust and faith in many different ways! This continuing situation has made investing in ICOs a very shaky proposition and damaged the reputation of crypto-currencies and bitcoin, in general.

Well now, along comes ICOToday, a crypto-currency decentralized platform for hosting and investing in ICOs. They will be using smart contracts (automated trustworthy workflow) on the ethereum blockchain with more faith and trust in the process and without the hassles that they have to endure with current exchange platforms. Additionally, community accepted ICOs will be able to communicate important information directly and securely through ICOTodays' platform.
ICOToday will be focusing on these three main components: Investor Security, Community and Ease of Use. By involving the community in rating icos and then directly investing through these smart contracts, investors will gain more trust in the ICO process and the digital blockchain that hosts it. They will also feel more in control of how they invest their funds in this process. For more information see: http://go.icotoday.io/y35n

It will be nice to see more and more ICO's accepting payments in cash or by credit cards.
