The whole idea for the project came in June of 2017 when the crypto market skyrocketed to the moon. Research to implement the project using the blockchain technology took place in the first quarter of 2018. The research took place in two phases and was completed in February of 2018. After a thorough research of the entire technology, the white paper of the project was released. The beta version of the TGE platform was also tested in the first quarter of 2018.
The second quarter of the year saw some major developments in the project. The TGE platform was released and user-registrations started. The tracking system development was completed and the anti-malware development also started in April of 2018. The Beta version of the anti-malware system was also released during the same time. The web platform for the OIO token holder was also released and the development of the wallet also began.
The third quarter of 2018 will see the release of beta versions of browser extensions. The smart contract for the distribution of the ICE tokens has also been published. In August, we will see the release of the complete version for browser extensions. We will also see the release of the beta version of the OIO and ICE token dashboard.
To end the quarter, the beta version of the wallet will also be released in this quarter. The release of the final versions of both the wallet and the dashboard after rigorous testing will also take place in the fourth quarter of 2018.
The roadmap is well planned all the way to the end of 2019. In 2019, we will see the project take off completely by integrating with many websites and the release of SDK for development. We will also see the release of plugins for E-commerce websites and a full-fledged marketplace.
Conclusion
When we have already planned for the future, there is very less chance of it going wrong. The online.io project has planned their development until the end of 2019. By planning ahead of time, they have time to distribute and execute the plan on time, thereby creating a project where users get what they were promised.
