WONO is in Wayra's startup contest Semi-Finals!

WONO has been selected for the AI+Blockchain Accelerator Semi-Finals. The competition is held by Wayra, a division of Telefonica/O2 telecom group. 10 winners will be supported by the accelerator and its partners - CISCO and University of Edinburgh.

“We are going to explore synergies with Telefonica/o2 globally and potentially be re-sold to our 300M customers worldwide” - said Thomas Bastien, a member of Wayra Acceleration Team.

A former Booking.com business development manager Benedict O’Leary who now works for WONO will represent the company’s team in Edinburgh, where the Semi-Finals will take place.

The Finals of the Wayra’s startup contest will take place on 26th of September.
