How to get transaction for ICO's through in time aka TenX

Many people today had tried to participate in the TenX ICO and could not get their transactions to be confirmed in the Blockchain in time.

This lead to far outcry from those who's transactions had been rejected due to the maximum investment limit/ hard cap, which had been reached within 7 minutes.

When everyone makes a transaction at the same time, the network gets congested due to many people trying to get onto the same blocks.

So in order that this does not happen again for those who missed the boat with TenX or similar, here is what you need to do in future:

prepare the transaction by input of address, amount, gas limit and gwei ( myetherwallet ).
if the company suggests a gas limit go with it.
set the gwei ( speed ) to maximum, in this case I set it to 60.
Do not make an immediate transaction within the first seconds of sale start of tokens. Wait anywhere between 30 - 90 seconds.
hit generate transaction and click confirm on your ledger wallet ( just as an example )

Although it all still depends on some luck, however I think the last point is where I believe most people got stuck in the middle of pending transactions that did not go through in time.

And even if this happens again due to many factors that depend a lot on the network, remember we are still at the beginning and no company is a guaranteed winner.
