Good day everyone.
Its has been of great concern to me recently of how we waste our resources (both time and money) frequently trying to make ends meet by investing heavily in some ICO programs without asking the necessary questions, thereby standing a chance of loosing out at the end of the day.

I'm not here to start giving you details of all you need to do or know in order to be successful or what you need to do in order not to fall victim of the fraud that has sneaked into the crypto world today through this idea of initial coins offerring.

Many fraudsters have seen ICO(Initial Coin Offering) program today by mostly every business settings in the crypto investment world as great opportunity, an avenue or a very smart strategy to lure people into spending their resources without getting anything in return.

Its obvious that up to a thousand of new ICOs from some known and unknown companies have almost taking over the cryptocurrency world today.
If i'm permitted to say, the bad guys have surely come out in mass, and mostly we African communities are likely turning their victims.

I know this has been possible for these bad guys in mostly Africa community because:

  • Most of us have lost hope in government as not being able to rescue us from this peak of Bad Economy that has been a threat to many African communities and now see ICO programs and Airdrops as the only means through which we can escape this menace since most of these programs kind of offer what we can afford, or rather give them free.
  • secondly, most of us have a very little knowledge or rather are totally ignorant of what Crypto currency and blockchain entail.

It has been of concern to me personally because in one way or the other, myself or even some people around me have fallen victims some once, and some severally. We also don't even seem to have learned our lessons because giving up also seems to us a journey to our dooms since government does not seem to care any more for the welfare of its people.

Well, in the process of my own struggle too, I came across one or two hints which can help you and myself, not only to know the right ICO to venture in, but also it gives us a hint on the basic things we should research on about the companies backing or rather offering the ICO program.

According to an international bestselling Author, Publisher, TEDx Speaker, and Blockchain “Cryptocurrency” Investor, Osamede Arhunmwunde, these are the few questions you need to ask yourself before investing in any ICO project:

  • What does the company do?
  • Is there a need, and demand for the decentralised service? (It’s all about demand. No demand, worthless)
  • Do they have an existing product?
  • Is the management team experienced in the space?
  • What the token will be used for?
  • How are their promotions? If they keep talking about general informations like how large the industry is instead of describing in detail what the project does, i’d most likely avoid them!
  • Can the company generate more tokens after the ICO whenever it wants?
  • Do they have a large social community? Major exchanges want to see that projects have large communities as part of the criteria to get listed.

I think if you are able to answer these question, you are likely going to make the right decision on whether its safe to invest on that particular ICO project.

Invest wisely

And Thank you for your time.
