Thanks for the info. Of course I wouldn’t want to be scammed but I am not sure how using a template from CodeCanyon makes it a scam. When you are a startup company you have very few staff and everyone has to do multiple jobs. Buying a template instead of hiring a web designer and put them on salary takes a lot of work. Just the interview process alone can take months to find a web designer and ICOs do not have that much time to waste on hiring a web designer. Same thing with a design agency. The process of working with a design agency takes months to get a website live. Just the psd files and mockups can take 3 to 6 months. Saying that it’s a scam because they are using a template from CodeCanyon is not evidence enough to call a start up company a scam.
