What is Ethos?
Ethos claims it is a universal wallet that is able to store all of your tokens, coins, and digital assets on its mobile-focused ecosystem, securing your assets with a SmartKey. Ethos does not control your assets and is completely decentralized allowing you are in complete control of them. You can also add assets stored elsewhere to your wallet, such as an offline hardware wallet or an exchange, allowing you to be able to check your entire portfolio all in one place. Another one of Ethos' features is it's social media platform, allowing you to see user reviews of coins, and provides detailed information on each cryptocurrency and recent data trends, though you should still do your own research past Ethos' data.
Ethos Bedrock: The Next Blockchain API
Ethos uses its own blockchain it calls Ethos Bedrock, allowing users to build other projects on it (like the Etherium blockchain). It compares itself to Red Hat, saying "Red Hat didn’t reinvent Linux,
but they provided a very important and useful set of services and packages that made it accessible for
businesses and consumers." On Ethos Bedrock, the Ethos team will be building multiple applications including Ethos Wallet Services, a decentralized exchange, and Ethos Fiat Gateway, an exchange allowing you to trade cryptocurrency for fiat currencies, requiring additional KYC ("Know Your Customer", Identification).
But not fully decentralized?
Yes, Ethos Wallet is not a fully decentralized wallet. A majority of the features are, but just like many other products, cryptocurrency needs some sort of infrastructure to provide support for less technical users, and a team to help when people have issues. Ethos plans on centralizing certain components of its service to provide a better user experience.

All in all, Ethos appears to be an amazing ICO, but remember it is just that. An ICO. Please do your own research before investing anything into cryptocurrency.
