Japan Bitcoin Exchange bitFlyer To Offer Insurance
Japanese Bitcoin exchange bitFlyer will offer retailers who accept Bitcoin as payment to have protection against transaction failures in customer payments. Among the things covered would be mishaps with payment systems and gateway issues, and even delays in transactions.
Coincheck will also be offering a similar insurance to retailers and merchants. The exchanges are trying to encourage retailers to accept Bitcoin as a legitimate form of payment.
Since Bitcoin was recognized in Japan in April as a legitimate form of payment, some large retailers are accepting Bitcoin, among them are: Big Camera, Recruit Lifestyle, and in AirRegi POS app that will allow some 260,000 retail locations across to accept Bitcoin.
