What’s an ICO airdrop?

 An ICO airdrop will happen when a Blockchain enabled project distributes its free tokens to the entire Crypto community. When it first start, In order to be eligible to receive airdropped tokens, you need to own some coins that are based on the same Bblockchain on which the project is built. But now a days you don't have to own some of their coin to be eligible to receive airdrop token. You can simple earn more by referring more people to the ICO. And you will be able to get so many tokens absolutely free. Which lead us to another question!?

Why Blockchain startups are giving away their Tokens?

As the number of Cryptocurrencies continues to multiply, there are currently over 1,000 rising above the noise is increasingly difficult for startups in the Blockchain industry. That’s one reason why they are giving away tokens for free. It's a popular way to attract users.

There are some individuals who is asking to send them ETH or BTC in order to be able to withdraw your Tokens. But the company who is givingway free tokens will never ask for any kind of money. My Personal Opinion is, as long as they are givingway free Tokens, you are not getting scammed. Remember you don't have to invest any money to get AirDrop Tokens. But there is some legit company who allow some AirDrop Tokens only for the people who have some ETH in their account.

Also There is a lot of company like HireGo, Bob's Repair, Esenth Network etc who is givingway some of their Tokens for free. In order to be eligible to receive AirDrop tokens, you just need to create an account and join their telegram channel. But there is some Company like Gift One who is Airdropping a lot of tokens worth hundred of dollars for doing almost nothing. People like us find it hard to believe that they will give us that amount of dollar for nothing. But Hey, like I said, they are not costing us any money. So there is no problem of trying ICO Airdrops. As long as they are free we should create an account and just leave it and wait to see if they really send us Tokens in our Wallet.
