Introduction

Tipestry.com is a platform where people can post comments about other websites and tip comments they like with cryptocurrency. And Tipestry Go is a mobile application for iOS and Android that allows users to leave comments on any physical location. Comments can be placed in the user's current physical location or by selecting a place on the map. Comments can be viewed through the map view, through the list of closest posts in the selected range, in the section that shows popular posts around the world, or in Augmented Reality. Digital coins are also hidden throughout the world and can be collected through applications.

Business Model

One of the main objectives of this project is to create a sustainable business model for social media platforms without the need for data theft. The concept of privacy disappears from the world because of how easy and profitable it is to spy on people, but fortunately crypto offers a potential alternative to the current paradigm.

One of our ways to generate revenue is by selling Tipestry Tokens, which can be used to increase ordinary accounts to Premium accounts and offer the owner of the results sharing account periodically. The cost of these results is obtained from a small percentage of tips. The plan is to charge a fee of 10% for each tip received and distribute 100% of the results to the owner of the Tipestry Token, even though the exact number can change.

The reason we do not save the cost of the results themselves (other than the tokens that we have ourselves) and distribute them because it gives its own value to the Tipestry Tokens. This is necessary because generally crypto that does not have an actual utility function or financial flow is usually not honest or will not last long.

We will also explore other revenue paths through crypto, for example selling other coins to users. This requires certain permits, so at first we will be limited when doing so and provide referrals to other users to go to other sites to get certain coins.
We will also experiment with anonymous, non-invasive advertising, especially in Tipestry Go, because without targeted data, location-based ads have great potential. For example, restaurants or retail stores can advertise their sales and effectively reach customers based

Tipestry: Comment Anywhere

Seeing the potential of cryptocurrency makes Tipestry come up with an idea where this platform will make people able to comment and tip anywhere using cryptocurrency as payment payment. Although some sites display comment sections or message boards, most do not. One of the goals of this project is to provide more places for people to interact and provide feedback online, including more unknown (or censored) web corners.
