ICO's Performance till the Second Quarter of 2018
With the news of market losing billions of dollars in cryptocurrencies and with the unclear future of cryptocurrencies in many countries, one would think that the end is nearer. However the figures don't add upto the same story. The investments per ICO has rose from average 6 million dollars per ICO (Q3 of 2017) to 31 million dollars per ICO (Q1 of 2018). The ICO funding has even surpassed VC funding deals in the second quarter of 2018. The EOS, an all time highest recorded ICO received a funding of 4.2 billion dollars.
2017 marked number of ICO startups based on different applications of blockchain technology. Till the second quarter of 2018, along with the funding there has also been a rise on the number of ICO startups.
Although, not all ICO's go on and become successful. Some of them are ponzi schemes meant to fool the investors. So study everything about the ICO before making an investment.
