ICC is India's opponent now!
There was a time when the ICC meant the rule of 'Three Morals'. After the end of the 'three morale' policy, the contradiction is often taking place between the regulatory bodies of the world cricket and the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI).
In the recently held ICC Board meeting in Calcutta, the conflict took a toll. The ICC did not give green signal even if India wanted to host 2021 Champions Trophy. Instead, India has been given the responsibility of organizing a Twenty20 World Cup. This issue is now facing the ICC's most influential cricket board in the world.
Indian cricketer Jagmohan Dalmiya launched the Champions Trophy. In 1998, its first edition was titled 'Mini World Cup' in Bangladesh. After that seven other tournaments were held. It is financially widespread that the ICC But in 2021 the Champions Trophy was intended to host India, but the ICC rejected the tax issue.
Instead, it has proposed to host the T20 World Cup. The Twenty20 World Cup will be played in Australia in 2020 in the previous year.
Cricket World will see three World Cups for three consecutive years if you win the 2019 One Day World Cup. But this decision is opposed to a section of the Indian Cricket Board. According to them, BCCI Acting Secretary Amitabh Chowdhury and Chief Executive Rahul Zohri have knocked the board from the back by agreeing to host the World Cup in the ICC meeting! The decision to lift the Champions Trophy does not seem to be easy to implement.
Along with these reports, many officials have also publicly demanded to boycott the Twenty20 World Cup. On the other hand, the ICC has made a strong statement about the big part of the BCCI. According to Indian media reports, the company's chief executive said, "If India does not want to host the T20 World Cup, Sri Lanka or Bangladesh will organize it. '
In other words, it is very clear that the ICC does not want to give much respect to Indian cricketers. But remember, the fertile land of the biggest trade in cricket is India. It is now a matter of view, whether the ICC can retain their stern position.
