THE POWER OF WISDOM FROM PROVERBS 3

Lord, I open my heart again today to obey all Your commandments because they give me a long, peaceful life. I will never forget Your Word. I ask for Your help in letting mercy and truth dominate my life so I can find favor and understanding with You and with others.

Today, I choose to trust You with all of my heart and not depend on my own understanding. Help me to acknowledge You in everything; then I will know exactly which way to go. Lord, I choose to reject the desire of my ego today. I don't want to be wise in my own eyes, so help me to resist pride. Instead, I want to fear You and stay away from evil. When I do, health and strength will come into my life.

Today, I choose to honor You with my possessions. I choose to give You the best part of any increase that comes into my life. As I do, You will bless my life to overflowing.

From this moment on, I'm not going to reject any corrections, realignment, or adjustment that You bring to me. And Lord, because I am Your child, I won't grow weary of them, even if You have to correct me over and over again. Is there anything You would like to correct in me today, Lord? Change me, Lord. I open my life to Your reorganization.

I thank you today that as I find wisdom and gain understanding, I will be a happier person. Assist me in understanding the value of wisdom and seeing why it is greater than rubies, silver, or fine gold. Your wisdom will lengthen my days while bringing marvelous results.

Help me keep wisdom and discretion as an integral part of my life. As I do, Lord, I know they will bring life to my soul and grace to my life.
