💥 Hybrix: multi-blockchain platform that empowers freedom of transactions

Hello dear readers. I think it's a good time to introduce to you a brand-new crypto-unicorn that I recently found in the crypto area. This project is called Hybrix and it came to us from the center of The Netherlands, from Utrecht, where its team is one of the cores local blockchain communities. And it is, without a doubt, a very popular and respected team. These young professionals are specialists in many spheres at the same time. For instance, one member may be a great tech guy and a cool marketer at the same time, and also could know how to build a huge and quality community and business relations all over the world. And it is like how every modern successful entrepreneur must be, on my mind.

So, in this post, I will give you some general information about Hybrix and will continue introducing it to you in a more detailed way in my next posts about this project.

We already have dozens of major absolutely different blockchains with absolutely different possibilities and consensus mechanisms, and also we have hundreds of their forks and other new, planned to be launched in the nearest future, main nets of blockchains of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or even 5th generations, like how some projects like to call themselves.

Nevertheless, every time when we need to exchange one coin on a specific blockchain to another one, we are forced to resort to the use of intermediary services, that initially should have been removed from the deal according to the main and initial idea of the blockchain technology. And most often these intermediaries are fully centralized, like all well-known today crypto-exchanges, because DEXes are usually working with tokens on one, same chain. You also know them all very well. It is DEXes, first of all, on Ethereum, NEO, EOS, Waves blockchain, etc.

But, Hybrix's second layer protocol is something completely new and breakthrough in comparison with already existing solutions for inter-ledger transactions like atomic swaps or so. It is a cross-ledger colored coin that is technically border-, or like I love to say, ledgerless and not belong to any single distributed ledger technology.

By simple words, Hybrix is a token that utilizes any distributed digital ledger as its underlying infrastructure. It is trustless, opened by design, and not controlled by a centralized party technology that empowers users to transfer value between different existing distributed digital ledgers. It already supports 31 blockchains and 387 tokens, including such major ledger systems like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, NEM, Ark, NXT, Litecoin, Lisk, Waves, and ZCash.

Enabling users to transfer value between supported chains and supporting all specific ecosystem members like miners, stakeholders, node operators, etc. by paying fees for the meta blocks that are used to transfer metadata about its transactions, this technology pretends to become even more popular than atomic swaps or decentralized exchanges, and I truly want it to happen and I wish the Hybrix team to fully realize all their ideas and ambitions.
