I am 32 years old now..Why its hard to get a husband?

Clickbait title? Hardly..since i dont think its going to work anyways.
But that is one of the many question thrown up upon me today.
Working as a reference librarian gave me an opportunity to come across many questions in regards of information searching and specific tools/apps training.

Where can i find this articles?
How should i use this tools?
How can i access this database at my home?

Those type of questions will get a fast response. And i can have 6-7 inquiries per week on average.

All of a sudden this late evening old friend sent me a text. Asking for me to help her to give a talk for an activity organized by her institution.

I said yes and come a long conversation regarding life after graduation. And thats when the casual question popped up. When will you get married? Mind you i already married and so the question comes from my end.

My friend is a PhD holder. Sweet and sexy with good job and future ahead.

And now she asked me how come Good Man is hard to come by. Sound desperate for a marriage?

Well in our normal local culture, if you are 32 years old female and still unmarried, your parents will step in and end up your single status ASAP!

Yet my friend Jenny (she wont let me use her real name) is already uncommon female here. A PhD holder at her 30s. Thats something.

I am not the one who have enough credible background to breakdown the answers for those type of questions regarding marriage and relationships.

In our culture which could be the same for most part of the world, people do something for a living, get a date, get married, have children, repeat (have children), get old and die. Not applied to everybody but thats a norm. Thats my goal as well. I am on the “repeat” stage now by the way.

Girls, trust me you know what you want. Sometimes you found the answer from someone else, but most of the time you know you had it in you.
