"Get On Down South (to New Orleans)" Songwriting Challenge #17 by Morgan Washam
Today's song was written about the tragedy that took place in New Orleans following the Hurricane Katrina storm that happened back in the summer of 2005. The storm took and displaced countless lives. However, the soul of city endured, and those who loved it came back, rebuilt and moved forward; although, not without great struggle, hardship, compassion and love. Hope you enjoy it, it's just a little groove out of A major.
See you tomorrow!
