Well that story deserves about 100 blogs on itself actually!
550 million was reserved for rebuilding the country and the only thing the Dutch government wanted for it was seeing where the money goes to, more border control and an integrity chamber (which I all find totally reasonable, if you help with that amount of money you can set some demands on seeing that the money ends up in the right place). But SXM government which is stubborn and unstable as fuck didnt want to comply with these demands mostly because they felt suppressed then by Dutch government. Honestly if you ask me, if still thousands of people have no roofs over their heads that should be priority number 1, and not anything else!
