RE: IceJJFish - A Musical Revolutionary

Did you really just posted that on steemit?? On Facebook it would made perfect sense, but oh.. That low steemit has reached.. unbelievable. And it has 50 votes also.. How did this post brought up value to the community, did you asked yourself?

Sort:

Don't be too upset, they are paying to use upvote bots to make it appear as if it is trending. While this may at first seem like an abuse of the system, it kinda makes sense because they are investing money in the steemit platform and thus helping it grow.

Two things determine what is valuable on steemit: quality content, and people who invest money to promote content.

This is the latter. (not to say these videos aren't cool. They are cool, just not cool enough to reach the top trending position on the music tag)

Yes i know they're using bots. The way he's using them, it is an abuse, and it may trigger a close look-up from those who are dealing with abuse.

Also, they're not investing in the steemit platform, but in bots. Bots acumulate SP and provide no content whatsoever in return. How is that creating value or improving the platform ?? And how is the community growing with content like this being promoted by bots that provide no value in return ??

Thanks man. After the third negative comment from him I muted him.

I’m sorry you feel that way. I don’t use Facebook, which I also posted about...

Well, you should rather start using it mate. There are other platforms more appropriate for this type of content. Also, if you continue with bots like this over and over again for this type of posts, you'll be up for flagging from those dealing with abuse. I'll make sure you're on the list as well if you continue promoting this type of behaviour. Cheers mate; straighten up, you can do so much more than this .
