I'm able to send DM's to other folks. The only thing that is different now, is that I have left the Minnow Support server, I'm still in Discord, Qurator and Minnowbooster

Discord support says that your privacy settings are the problem, you are most likely mainly or exclusively on the minnowsupport server.
I would have to rejoin that server or you could change your
Discord settings, like this
Hi Jerry that's weird because my settings are set in that way and have no problem with anyone else DM. I left another chat room this week and was able to answer a person from that chatroom without me being in the group anymore.
I went down the list of people I've had DM's with in discord, you and @adawrytes are the only ones I got the error message and couldn't communicate with.
She lives in Nigeria, and she hasn't been on Steemit in about 14 days for some reason.
I don't know what the answer is.
If you are still in Minnowsupport, perhaps you can ask them?
It was suggested that I send you a friend request (in discord) which I have done, that this might help.
