1— The #ShowerThoughts Project

in #humor7 years ago

Shower thoughts are not a new thing. We all have them, don't we?

This idea, to create shower thoughts for my weekend posts, was born last night. Not during my shower time, but weirdly— bedtime.

I couldn't sleep at 3 am and this idea suddenly came rushing to me.

I've always enjoyed reading shower thoughts on Reddit and in the almighty TheHustle's newsletters (Still one of my fav newsletters. If you haven't heard of them you should, their newsletters are amazing)

Some are funny, while others are dark. And I always appreciate dark humour.

Amongst many inner struggles and deep conversations I had with my self, here's one for today.

What do you think of this #showerthoughtsproject idea?

These days I mostly write on Steemit.
I still have my portfolio and personal sites— virtuallydebbie.com and debbieang.com.
But these sites will eventually redirect you to my Steemit blog.
Well, what can I say. If it’s good stuff, you can’t get enough of it :)
Follow me and I'll take you through my unpredictable journey— filled with wilderness, curiosity and randomness.

Well. Watch American Werewolf In London all the way through to the credits. The song that comes on is a jump scare that makes you start laughing.

I'm not a huge fan of horror movie for the obvious reason @inalittlewhile- I'm a scaredy-cat LOL

If there's ANY horror movie that I'd watch, I might as well skip it till the end. The first half? My face is literally covered by blanket/ sweater/ anything else I can find haha

Ha ha. My youngest boy watched The Thing with me when he was too little. I shouldn't have done that to him. But now, he's 12 and he loves horror. :)

Such a brave boy @inalittlewhile ... I can never brace myself for a horror movie ahaha ... what a lovely family you have :)

The #BedThoughts Project @deborism? Hahaha

hahaha that's so creative of you.... @aaronmcheong good idea actually

Haha! That's what I did after watching the remake of IT :P

Don't even remind me that man... i watched the first one when i was a kid and boy, no thanks to the remake... haha though I heard the remake wasn't as scary as the first ;p

Same here. My sister and I couldn't sleep without the lights on for a week.

Yeah the new one isn't that scary. Maybe it's because we're older. But it's actually a good movie.
