RE: Justice for Asifa

You say:

No religion ever preached war, sexual assaulting, terrorism, etc.

Actually the Bible specifically promotes violence, hate, sexual assaulting. Lot was just one of the examples of the latter. The tribe of Benjamin was another:

hey decided to allow these 600 men to carry on the tribe of Benjamin but no one was willing to give their daughter in marriage to them because they had vowed not to. To get around this, they provided wives for the men by killing the men from the tribe of Machir who had not shown concern for the almost lost tribe of Benjamin as they did not come to grieve with the rest of Israel. 400 virgin women from the tribe of Machir were found and given in marriage to the Benjaminite men.

Not all religions are equal!

Sort:

That's an episode from the Bible; I'm sure it doesn't ask followers of Christianity to the same.
In other words, it doesn't 'preach war, sexual assaulting, terrorism, etc.' , just mentions it in a story.

It not only specifically encourages sexual assaults, it also mentions the cases where people were rewarded either by God or by priests for doing so. What else would Bible have to do to explicitly encourage violence?

Maybe. But it boils down to one thing in the end: religion and belief and faith can only take us so far. We must be conscientious enough to determine and differentiate between wrong and right ourselves.

Ok, I got that.
