When I look at myself
I do not find me any more
For each moment shouting a new tale
To be told in silence
To give life a new wing to hear a sweet call.
How could a falcon stop to fly
To hear the falconer’s call?
Nothing is lost in the brief moment
Than laughing at the trouble of parting before meeting again.
The absolute continuity of two lives
Means nothing more than it ever meant
Spread in an easy way without any effort
To call the old familiar name in a different way.
It does not count
When it slips away into the next room
Than being a negligible accident
Not allowing anything more to happen
But just waiting for an interval somewhere very near.
The known merges into the unknown
Thinking separately of life and the next
When one is born from the last
Looking at water and fire all at once
Far away from one another
Yet together.
How long shall I be here in this dust world
Than spreading the wings in the air
For a freedom from the cage with earth and stone?
I find the grace of the answer
When I know the question as well.
