The human zygote
The human zygote is a unit of cell, consisting of the male gamete(sperm) which fuses with the female gamete (ovum) the zygote will eventually develop into a full baby within a period of about nine months. A normal Zygote usually contains a total of 46 chromosomes or 100,000 genes having received 23 chromosomes of 50 ,000 genes each from both parent. The zygote has all the essential biological features, which will later manifest in the individual at birth and after birth. Such features will include sex, blood type, complexion, facial outlooks.
