Tony stark reunited the illuminati of Marvel with a plan to take the Hulk off planet earth, because of the danger he represents.
So he sent Hulk on a fake mission to destroy a defective military satellite, and that satellite was supposed to launch the Hulk to an uninhabited planet, to live forever. But the planet was not uninhabited, it is the planet Sakaar, where he is captured and placed to fight like a gladiator.

Tony stark reuniu os illuminati da Marvel com um plano para tirar o Hulk do planeta terra, por causa do perigo que ele representa, então ele o enviou em uma missão falsa para destruir um satélite militar defeituoso, e esse satélite deveria lançar o Hulk para um planeta desabitado, para viver para sempre. Mas o planeta não estava desabitado, é o planeta Sakaar, onde ele é capturado e colocado para lutar como um gladiador.
