For the Food & Drinks section, we have:
- Take a sip of coffee before adding sugar, you won't need as much sugar for it to taste as sweet afterwards.
- Have leftover coffee from this morning? Make coffee ice cubes. Can be used to cool iced coffee without diluting it.
- Put a small amount of water in a glass when you microwave your pizza to keep the crust from getting chewy.
- Gatorade or Powerade is only fitnessy when it's during a workout, and watered down. Otherwise it's all just extra sugar and empty calories.
- Turn your spoon upside down when pouring milk into a bowl of cereal to prevent splashing.
- Grocery stores stack their product by sell-by date, which means the oldest food's in the front. Grab the fresh food in the back.
- Making cookies and don't have any eggs?? Use half a banana (per egg) - it works as a good substitute.
- Stuffy nose? Leave a sliced onion near where you sleep and let it sit for the night. When you wake up you'll have a clear nose again.
- Drinking chocolate milk has been proven to help relieve muscle soreness after a workout.
- If you're a vegetarian, don't try and make your pets vegetarians too. It can kill them.
Most of these hacks I already knew, the banana as an alternative to eggs for making cookies is completely new to me.... A vegan alternative?
Glad to hear something new was learned. Is rather healthier alternative; but usually healthier encompasses vegan :) .
Nice tips I will try the onion at night and see how it works
Lovely; how did that go?
LOL I just went to the store today and got a bag of onions. Tonight the night :)
I think I'll try the one for stuffy noses the next time I have one. The tip for the pizza crust is pretty useful, too!
Very good to hear. Let me know how that goes :d.
