Not Fake Photo

About three years ago a friend from church passed away. At the service during the viewing my cousin went up to the balcony to take a photo with a broad view. A while later that day she was looking the photos taken from the balcony and noticed something in one that we cannot explain yet. Some have even gone to the balcony and tried to reproduce the same effect but to no avail. After seeing the photo some ask if a chandelier caused it . There is a light fixture up there but closer to the front and it was dimmed that day. Our friend at the lower center of the photo is surrounded by light coming down from the ceiling . There are no bright white lights in this building. Any ideas on what you think made this image are welcome.
